ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF NEW JERSEY

Maroulis was born in Brooklyn to a family of Greek-American immigrants. His ancestors came to the United States from Greece in 1920. The family cared about the national past. Constantine has known the Greek language since childhood. Besides him, the family has two more children. His elder brother Athan became a producer, and his sister Anastacia became a school principal.

When he was five, his family moved to Wyckoff, New Jersey. It was there that he became interested in music. At school, Maroulis learned to play the trumpet and tried to follow his elder brother. He even tried to play in various amateur music groups.

In 1993, he graduated from high school and entered the Boston Conservatory.

In 2000, he participated in the recording of the musical Suburban Dreams. Constantine wasted no time and worked every day to promote himself in the world of music.
